I am going to miss Alan so much…his big smile, his big heart, his presence at Columbus Elementary. During book check out he would always magically appear next to me behind the check out desk. And often times he would be the last student to leave the library with his class. It was like he was just checking up on me. One of Alan’s favorite books was “Tuesday”. It’s a very funny book about flying frogs and it will always remind me of him. My heart goes out to all who knew him, loved him and will miss him. He was a unique and special lil boy!
